I live in New York,but every year I spend a few months in Japan.

Ten years ago I developed a gum disease, resulting in the appearance of deep pockets around some of my teeth. At that time my regular dentist in New York told me that I needed very serious dental surgery, very soon, surgery that was somewhat risky, and without guarantee that it would really solve the problem.

In Kyoto, I heard about dentist Fukuchi, and I visited him, to ask for a second opinion. Fortunately, he concluded that there was no rush, and that the problem could be kept under control in defferent ways. Indeed, ten years later I still don't have a need for surgery. I am grateful that I could get his good advice, combined with good treatment.
